Khurda: The body of a woman was recovered at Tikatala near the Khurda-Balangir National Highway-57 on Saturday morning.
The body has yet to be identified. It is suspected that she was murdered after being raped last night.
Tension prevailed among the locals following the incident and they blocked the road. As a result, vehicular movement came to a standstill on the road.
On getting information, Begunia police reached the spot and controlled the situation.
According to sources, a scientific team will investigate into the matter.
