Cuttack: Panic gripped passengers of Lokmanya Tilak Express when two bogies near the engine got detached at Salgaon near Chaudhwar in Cuttack district on Monday morning.
According to sources, the incident occurred as the Mumbai-bound train was approaching Salagaon-Berhampur station, after leaving Bhubaneswar at around 7.30 am.
Railway authorities immediately reached the spot and the train resumed its onward journey at around 9.05 am after repair works were completed.
The reason for decoupling is yet to be ascertained, the sources added.
