New Delhi: Several screenshots of an Instagram group of teenaged boys have gone viral on social media. The group ‘Bois Locker Room’ has been accused of graphic sexualization and sharing private photos of under-age women.
The screenshots show chats between Class 11 and 12 boys of posh South Delhi schools engaging in tawdry talk about the bodies of the photos.
It has been alleged that the group engages in explicit and morphed photographs of women.
The members of the group have been revealed publicly in the screenshots.
“Bad dressing sense but good t**s” reads a message from the group.
There were lewd discussions about guessing “sizes” of girls and their ages.
Another disturbing message about leaking nude photos of girls:
“Bhai jitni bhi ladkiyon ne stories daali hai na sabki nudes leak kar dete hain. Kuch kuch ki hai mere paas…now they’ll know yeh sab *expletive* karne ka kya natija hota hai…ab muh band rakhengi yeh *expletive*…bada feminist banna hai na sabko…kahin muh dikhane ke layak nahi rahengi.”
[Let’s post nude photos of all girls who posted stories about us. I have photos of some of them. Now they will know the result of these shenanigans. They will shut their mouth. They want to be feminists na… they will not be able to show their face in public.]”
A case has reportedly been filed against the members of the group under the IT Act. However, it has not been verified.
The incident has created an uproar on social media, pointing to toxic masculinity and the promotion of rape culture at a young age.
