Mumbai: Former Delhi MLA Manjinder Singh Sirsa has filed a fresh complaint against filmmaker Karan Johar for allegedly organising a ‘drug party’ at his residence in Mumbai.
According to a Times Of India report, Sirsa has filed a complaint with the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) against Johar and the other Bollywood celebrities, who were seen in the viral video of the alleged ‘drug party’ hosted at the filmmaker’s residence.
The former MLA has urged the NCB Chief Rakesh Asthana to investigate the matter and stated that it will help in unravelling the mystery behind Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
Sharing the pics of the complaint copy on his Twitter handle, Sirsa wrote, “I met Sh. Rakesh Asthana, Chief of @narcoticsbureau at BSF headquarter, Delhi regarding submission of complaint for investigation & action against film Producer @karanjohar and others for organizing drug party at his residence in Mumbai That party video must be investigated into!”

Earlier, Sirsa had filed a complaint with the Mumbai police on August 1, 2019, regarding the viral video. Even after repeated reminders, the Mumbai police failed to investigate the matter, the former MLA told the media.
“What was the reason which stopped them from investigating the case, especially when the complaint was made by an elected representative? The investigation was not simple, it was about the drugs issue,” Sirsa was quoted as saying by Times Now.
In the viral video, B-town celebs Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora and Varun Dhawan among others were seen ‘flaunting their drugged state’.
Karan Johar had shared the video on his social media handle.
