Bhubaneswar: Chief minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his pleasure for meeting Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal who called on him at Naveen Nivas, here.
In a tweet, Naveen said it was a pleasure meeting actor Arjun Rampal who was in Bhubaneswar to attend the Women’s Business Mela 2022. The chief minister also encouraged the actor to explore Odisha’s treasure-trove of natural beauty and heritage.
Following the meeting, Arjun said he was moved by simplicity and honesty of Naveen. He had heard a lot about the chief minister, but meeting him personally was a new experience, he added. He was accompanied by woman entrepreneur from the state Sukirti Patnaik.
On his experience in the city, the actor said though its was his first visit to Odisha, its natural beauty is so attractive that he felt like settling here for life.
Arjun was one of the dignitaries invited to attend IWEC Women’s Business Mela 2022 organised by Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Women’s Entrepreneurship Council (IWEC) with support from the ICC, MSME-DI and State Government in the city.
