New Delhi: A suspicious object, presumed to be an explosive device, was today found near Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s residence in Chandigarh. A bomb disposal squad was immediately dispatched to the spot, which is just a short distance from the helipad of Punjab and Haryana CM House, NDTV reported.
The area is a high-security one. Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar’s residence is also close by. The Punjab and Haryana Secretariat and Assembly are also close to the place where the bomb was found, The Indian Express reported.
