Mumbai: ‘Border 2’, starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty and Diljit Dosanjh, released in theatres on Friday.

After catching early shows of the film on the opening day, the audience took to social media to share their views on the sequel of blockbuster war drama ‘Border’.

Lauding the film, a netizen expressed, “I just came out after watching #Border2. Even after giving this film almost 3 hours of my time, I’m still excited. This film is Pure Cinema. Border 2 has successfully carried forward the legacy of Border. As long as you’re sitting in the theatre, you’ll keep getting goosebumps. The best thing about this film is its storytelling. Sunny Deol has once again proven that he was born to play exactly these kinds of roles. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film opened to packed houses. As per a Sacnilk report, the collections were Rs 13.98 crore net in India by 5 pm on Friday.

The film is expected to beat ‘Dhurandhar’ (Rs 29 crore) and Chhaava (Rs 32 crore) by the end of the day.
