Bhubaneswar: The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) on Tuesday decided to allow the students to appear at the online final semester (Exit Opportunity) Examinations-2019-20 from their home.
The university took the decision after considering the requests from the colleges regarding non-availability of desktop, laptop and the possible risk to appear the examinations in the nearby examination centres.
“The students are allowed to appear the online final semester examinations using their android mobile phones or tablets in addition to desktop and laptop from home without going to the examination centre,” the university said in a notification.
Besides, the students, who have opted to appear at the examination from the nearby examination centre, have to choose from desktop, laptop, mobile phone or tablet for taking the examination from home only and intimate their own college to change the option in the university registration portal www.bputevaluation.com
the notification stated.The university will notify and upload the instructions and the revised schedule to appear in the online emote proctored final semester examinations using android mobile phone and tablet, chat-bot for FAQ’s and video for the trial test in mobile and tablet, course-wise trial test date and student re-registration dates in the college level on or before July 29, the notification added.
