Bhubaneswar: The Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) here, on Friday announced that students will be given a second chance to appear at the examinations if they fail to clear their papers in the first attempt.
Director (Examinations), BPUT, Deepak Kumar Sahoo said, “If a regular student appeared at the exit opportunity final semester online examination 2019-20 in a theory subject (s) and could not pass for whatsoever the reason, he/she will be allowed to re-appear at the examination in the offline mode as a regular subject once the colleges are re-opened and normalcy restored.”
Earlier, in view of the ongoing pandemic, BPUT authorities had postponed the online final semester examinations till July 31.
“It is for the information of all concerned that the Online Exit Opportunity Final Semester Theory Open Book (Innovative & Outcome Based Education) Examinations: 2019-20 for MBA, B.Pharm, B.Tech, M.Sc (Integrated) and MBA (PT) courses are hereby postponed till 31st July, 2020 on account of lockdown in entire jurisdiction of Khurda, Ganjam, Cuttack, Jajpur districts and Rourkela Municipal Corporation,” stated a notice from BPUT.
