Khurda: A Special Task Force (STF) team of the Crime Branch has seized 320 grams of brown sugar and arrested a person in this connection in Khurda district.
Acting on a tipoff, the STF team seized the contraband other incriminating materials from the possession of one Akhaya Baliarsingh of Orabarsingh village under Jankia police limits on Monday evening.
Following a sustained drive against narcotics, the STF alone has seized 23.593 kg of brown sugar and arrested 50 peddlers in 2020,
