Bhubaneswar: Brown sugar worth around Rs 23 lakh was seized from Hi-Tech Chhak under Mancheswar Police limits and two persons were arrested in Odisha capital on Thursday.
According to reports, a team of QAT and Mancheswar police conducted a raid when a peddler was about to carry out a deal and seized around 273 gram of brown sugar from his possession.
The accused have been booked under relevant sections of the NDPS Act and further investigation is underway, police sources said.
