Jajpur: Excise officials on Tuesday seized brown sugar worth over Rs 3 lakh and arrested three persons in this connection in the district.
Following a tip-off, a team of the Excise officials raided a house in Chuna Bhati area and seized 31 gram of brown sugar. A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotic Substances (NDPS) Act, sources said.
The arrested persons were identified as Aju Das, Narayan Das and Manoj Kumar Das.
