Khurda: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch on Wednesday seized 305 grams of brown sugar worth Rs 30 lakh and arrested a person in this connection.
Acting on a tip-off, the STF team raided an area in Khurda and arrested Priyabrata Das (22) and seized the contraband from his possession.
However, the two other associates, Sanjay Pradhan and Deepak Swain managed to escape. Efforts are on to nab them, the STF officials said.
