BSE To Retain OMR Pattern In Annual HSC Exams
Cuttack: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has decided to retain the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) question pattern in the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examinations scheduled next year.
The students will have to answer long questions, carrying 50 marks, and the short questions of same marks in the OMR format.
The School and Mass Education Department, in a letter, has directed the BSE to stick to its decision in this regard.
However, there has been a minor change in the management of the examination, the letter has stated.
The BSE would announce the changes in the examination management in detail in a notification very soon.
