Builder Held For ‘Misbehaving’ With Woman Employee At New Year Party In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Police have arrested a builder for allegedly misbehaving with a woman employee during a New Year bash at office in Odisha capital.

The accused has been identified as Managing Director of Sai Krishna Developers Shyam Sundar Sethi, a native of Bhola village under Chandaka police limits.

According to sources, Ashok found the woman standing alone during the party and asked her to dance with him. When she declined, he tried to push her to the dance floor and this led to a scuffle. Following which, the accused abused her and asked her to leave the party.

The woman employee later lodged a complaint with Khandagiri Police for this inappropriate behaviour.

Ashok has been sent to judicial custody after a local court rejected his bail plea.
