Etawah (UP): A fire broke out in one of the bogies of New Delhi-Darbhanga Superfast Express on Wednesday evening.
The train halted once the fire was detected and spread quickly to other coaches, near Sarai Bhupat railway station in UP’s Etawah.
Seeing the raging flames spread, several panicky passengers tried to save themselves by jumping off the train.
Fire engines have been rushed to the spot and they are trying to extinguish the fire, according to Railway officials.
No casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
