Balasore: A bus driver was severely thrashed for allegedly passing lewd comments and misbehaving with a woman passenger at Khantapada in Balasore district on Saturday.
The bus was on its way to Soro from Balasore when the incident took place.

According to sources, the woman informed her family about the incident and they stopped the bus midway. She and other passengers then beat up the driver black and blue.
The woman’s family also lodged an FIR with the Khantapada police.
The police have detained the bus driver for interrogation.
