Mumbai: A speeding Ferrari car was damaged after it rammed into the railing on the Bandra-Worli sea link (BWSL) in Mumbai. The car was being driven by a 28-year-old man, Samridh Khandelwal, who is a Bandra (west) resident and a businessman by profession, The Indian Express reported.
The incident took place around 2.30 am on Friday when the Ferrari SF 90 car bearing number plate MHO1 DV 0777, worth around Rs crore, entered the sea link from Worli end. No other vehicle was hit in the incident.
“It was speeding and we suspect the car was about to race on the sea link but it veered out of control and rammed into the railing,” a Bandra police official was quoted saying.
No one was hurt as the airbags in the car were released on time.
