Bhubaneswar: Leading private engineering C V Raman Engineering College in Odisha capital has got university status after getting approval from Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal recently.
Founder-cum-president of CV Raman Global University Sanjib Kumar Rout at a press conference here on Tuesday evening expressed his gratitude to the Governor and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for granting permission to establish the university.
The university will offer different programmes in engineering and humanities with the future skills, Rout said.
Some of specialized honours programmes that University will be on offer include artificial intelligence, robotics, VR and AR, data analytics, cloud computing, cyber security, mechatronics and manufacturing with industry partnership, he informed.
“The university will start MBA programmes in innovation, entrepreneurship and venture development along with specialized MBA in aviation revenue management analyst and other emerging areas,” he added.
The university plans to take in students from foreign countries and all over India through All India Entrance Examination.
