Can’t Make An Opinion By Seeing Marks: AIIMS Panel Chief On Claims Of SSR’s Family Lawyer
Mumbai: After Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh claimed that an AIIMS doctor had confirmed murder on seeing the ligature marks, the AIIMS panel chief rubbished them.
According to a Times Now report, AIIMS panel Chief Sudhir Gupta said that no doctor can give an opinion by merely seeing the ligature marks.
“Can’t make an opinion by seeing marks,” said the panel chief, as reported by Times Now.
“No conclusion or conclusion opinion of homicide or suicide could be made by seeing ligature marks and scene of occurrence. It’s difficult for doctors and next to impossible for general people, needed solely internal link discretion and forensic interpretation,” added Gupta.
He further requested everyone to have patience and wait for the final report as no conclusions have been drawn so far in Sushant’s case.
Earlier in the day, Sushant’s family lawyer Vikas Singh had stated that he was getting frustrated by the delay in the case.
“Getting frustrated by the delay in CBI taking a decision to convert abetment to suicide to the murder of SSR. The doctor who is part of the AIIMS team had told me long back that the photos sent by me indicated 200% that it’s death by strangulation and not suicide,” tweeted Singh.
The tweet was shared by Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti, “We have been so patient for so long! How long will it take to find the truth?”
