Mumbai: The conflict between YouTubers and TikTokers reached a crescendo when TikTok suspended Amir Siddiqui’s account.
The users of the two video sharing platforms had been indulging in a heated war of words and videos over the past few days.
After brother Faisal Siddiqui, the account of TikTok ‘star’ Amir Siddiqui has also been banned on the video-sharing platform. The step came after several reports surfaced on the internet that casting director Noor Siddiqui had filed a case against him for sending him threatening messages. Although Amir Siddiqui denied the accusations, TikTok blocked his account.
CarryMinati fans rejoiced after they heard the news and took to their Twitter account to share their happiness.
Let’s see how they showed their excitement.
For those of you, who don’t know what happened, here’s a backgrounder.
It all started a few weeks ago, when a TikTok user, Amir Siddiqui took a jibe at YouTube users saying that they used our (TikTok’s) video to make content and still bash all of us. He claimed that TikTok is a better platform compared to YouTube.
This didn’t go well down with famous Youtuber CarryMinati and firing a salvo back at Amir Siddiqui, he released a video named, TikTok – The End, in which he roasted the latter. But a few days later, YouTube took that video down leaving all his fans disappointed. Following this, CarryMinati released another video, in which he was seen clarifying his stand. His new video made a new record of the most liked video in 10 hours.
Social media users and his fans slammed TikTok while supporting Minati, with the resut, its rating went down from 4 to 1.2 stars.
