Thiruvananthapuram: Malayalam actress Aparna P Nair was found dead at her house on Thursday night.
According to local media reports, the film and TV actress was found hanging at her home in Karamana area of Kerala’s capital city. She was shifted in an unconscious state to a private hospital, where Aparna was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police received information about Aparna’s death from the hospital around 11 pm.
Karamana police, who registered a case of unnatural death, are looking into the cause of death. More clarity is expected once the post-mortem report is available.
The 31-year-old actress, survived by her husband and two daughters, used to often share pictures and videos with family members on social media.
There was no sign or hint of any family discord.
Aparna was known for TV shows like ‘Chandanamazha’, ‘Atmasakhi’, ‘Maithili Veendum Varum’ and ‘Devasparsham’.
She also acted in films like ‘Meghatheertham’, ‘Muthugau’, ‘Achayans’, ‘Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakil’ and ‘Kalki’.
