Casting Couch: Ex-Model Accuses Nine Bollywood Personalities Of Rape
Mumbai: The casting couch controversy has once again reared its head with a former model accusing nine Bollywood personalities of raping and molesting her under the pretext of giving her acting opportunities.
Among those named in a police complaint by the 28-year-old victim are actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani, producer Ajit Thakur, photographer Colston Julian, founder of talent management company Kwan Entertainment Anirban Blah and Krishan Kumar of T-series.
The model has also named Nikhil Kamat, Sheel Gupta, Gurujyot Singh, Krishna Kumar and Vishnu Induri in her complaint.
She told police that the sexual harassment took place between 2014 and 2019 and this caused her mental trauma.
Police said they have registered a case under several IPC sections, including rape and molestation, against the nine accused, India Today reported.
Jackky Bhagnani is the son of famous Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani. Jackky bagged his first role as the lead actor in the 2009 film ‘Kal Kissne Dekha’. Over the years, he has produced several successful films.
