CAT 2019 Exam Date For Admission To IIMs Announced

Kozhikode: The Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission to the IIMs and other B-schools will be held on November 24 (Sunday).

Registration: 

Registration for the exam will open on August 7 and close on September 18. Registration fee can be paid through online mode only.

Centres: 

IIM Kozhikode, which is conducting CAT this year, in a statement, said the test centres will be spread across 156 cities. Candidates will be given the option to select four cities in order of preference.

The Test: 

The duration of the exam will be 180 minutes. The exam will be divided into three sections such as ‘verbal ability and reading comprehension’, data interpretation and logical reasoning’ and ‘quantitative ability’.

The candidates will be given 60 minutes for answering questions in each section. Switching over from one section to another while attempting the questions will not be allowed.

The format of the test will be available in the CAT website from October 16.

The website will go live from July 28 to help the candidates clarify their doubts about CAT 2019.
