Mumbai: The eyewitness who saw Rhea Chakraborty with Sushant Singh Rajput on June 13, a day before the actor’s demise, is likely to be summoned by investigators.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) team, which is probing the Sushant death case, is likely to interrogate the person — who could provide crucial inputs in the Sushant death case.
Even as Rhea claimed that she had left Sushant’s house on June 8, three people — a BJP leader, Karni Sena activist, and the actress’ neighbor — have confirmed that she met the actor a day before his death.
Rhea’s neighbor told Republic TV an eyewitness had told her in June itself that Sushant had come to drop the actress home on June 13 at around 6-6:30 pm.
The BJP leader also claimed that an eyewitness informed him about Sushant and Rhea’s meeting on June 13.
The AIIMS panel probing the actor’s case has ruled out murder and confirmed that Sushant died by suicide.
A recent bank audit report has also dismissed the transaction of Rs 15 crore between Rhea and Sushant.
