New Delhi: The Class X and XII CBSE-2020 Board exams are likely to begin from the first week of March. An indication in this regard was given by CBSE’s activity calendar for 2019-20 released on Saturday.
“The Board examinations for small subjects shall begin in mid-February and for all major subjects, they shall commence from the first working day in March like every year. The exact schedule shall be notified,” the activity calendar said.
The first working day falls on March 2 (Monday) and it is most likely that the exams could begin from that date itself. The complete date sheet or time-table is expected only by the end of November or in December.
The CBSE 2019 Board exams had begun from the second week of February due to the approaching general elections. In 2018, the Board exams had kicked off from March 1.
