Mumbai: The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday’s ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ a U/A 16+ certificate, and asked the makers to reduce sexually-seductive scenes in the film.
Days ahead of the film’s release, the CBFC asked the makers for three cuts to the film, as per a report in Bollywood Hungama — reduce a sexually suggestive scene of around 15 seconds in the first half of the film; mute and remove obscene words from dialogues and the subtitles; mute and remove abbreviations of obscene expressions from a scene in the second half.
After the suggested cuts, the film’s total running time is 2 hours, 25 minutes and 41 seconds.
Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, with Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, Kishor Arora, and Bhumika Tewari as producers, ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ also features Neena Gupta, Jackie Shroff and Tiku Talsania in supporting roles.
The film is scheduled for a Christmas release.
