Bhubaneswar: Senior BJP leader and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi has urged the Centre to set up a state-of-the-art cancer research unit at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) premises in Bhubaneswar.
The BJP leader, in a twitter post, said he met the Union Minister of State for Atomic Energy, Jitender Singh on Monday and requested him to open the hub.
Met Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister, Dept. Of Atomic Energy, GoI today and requested him for opening a hub for research and treatment of cancer patients on the campus of NISER in BBSR. She said the minister was very positive and said that his department would work out the modalities.
