Puri: The Chhatisha Nijog, a body of servitors of Jagannath Temple here, finalised the schedule for the ensuing Rath Yatra scheduled on July 14 at a meeting here on Sunday night.
Presiding over the meeting, newly-appointed chief administrator of Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) Pradipta Mohapatra discussed timely conduct of rituals of the Lords with the servitors and sought their cooperation for the smooth conduct of the mega festival.
The timing of the rituals to be performed on Rath Yatra finalised at the meeting is as follows:
Mangala Alati- 6 am, Mailamlagi- 6.10 am, Tadapalagi and Rosa Homa Niti-6.30 am, Abakasha Niti-7 am, Surya Puja-7.10 am, Dwarapala Puja and Besha-7.30 am, Gopala Ballava and Sakala Dhupa- 8 am-9 am, Ratha Pratistha-9 am, Mangalarpana-9.15 am, Pahandi Bije of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra-9.30 am-12.30 pm, Pahandi Bije of Lord Madanamohana12.30 pm-1 pm, Chitalagi and Besha-1.30 pm-2 pm, Chhera Panhara Niti-1.30 pm-2.30 pm, Chhera Panhanra by Gajapati Maharaja on three chariots- 2 pm-3 pm, Charamala Phita and Ghoda Sarathi Lagi- 3 pm to 4 pm and pulling of chariots-4 pm.
Besides, the meeting also finalised the ritual timings for Chaka Bije, Khalilagi Ekadashi, Raja Prasada Bije, Ghanalagi Trayodashi, Banakalagi Chaturdashi, Netrotsava, Nabajoubana Darshan, Hera Panchami, Ratha Dakhina Moda, Sandhya Darshan, Bahuda Yatra and Sunabesha.
Among others, Puri collector Arvind Agarwal, SP Sarthak Sarangi, Niti Prasasak Pradip Kumar Das and office-bearers of several Nijogs of the temple were present.
