Bhubaneswar: Hundreds of Chhatra Congress activists staged a demonstration before the Commissionerate Police headquarters, demanding a ED probe into SOA university fake placement allegations, here on Friday.
“We are not satisfied with the police investigation into the sensitive matter. We demand a thorough probe by the ED and stringent action against those responsible for playing with the future of the students. SOA university founder Manoj Nayak should immediately be arrested. The state government should also take over the reins of the university at the earliest,” said president of Odisha unit of National Students’ Union of India Itish Pradhan.
Several activists clashed with police during the agitation and were later arrested.
Police have already arrested the SOA Placement Dean and a youth in this case.
