Berhampur: Five of the eight workers killed in the road accident at the Chhattisgarh capital Raipur early on Saturday morning have been identified by the police.
The deceased, from Ganjam district, are Susant Swain (40), son of Kartik Swain of Baghuapalli village under Gangapur police limits; Narayan Gouda (27), son of Panchu Gouda under Gangapur police limits; Kailash Jena (35), son of Trinath Jena and Samir Mahakud (17) son of Raju Mahankud under Chhatrapur PS; and Biswanath, son of Udayanath.
The five injured who are admitted in Raipur Medical College and Hospital are Chitra Swain (22) of Belaguntha; Sanyasi (42) of Kabisurya Nagar; Bulu Swain (33) of Seragada; Babu Gouda (9) of Kabisurya Nagar; and Tukuna Jena (30) of Gangapur.
