Bhubaneswar: In a step towards strengthening Odisha’s position as a major industrial hub, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday unveiled the logo of the upcoming ‘Utkarsh Odisha’ – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025.

In his keynote address at the unveiling of the logo, the Chief Minister reiterated Odisha’s commitment to achieve its industrial ambitions through visionary policies, improved infrastructure and a business-friendly environment. “The Utkarsh Odisha Conclave 2025 will be much more than an event. It will serve as a platform for action, where discussions will be transformed into partnerships and progress,” he said.

The Chief Minister also outlined several ambitious initiatives his government has undertaken including development of MSME parks in each district, establishment of an FDI Park, multimodal logistics parks and new industrial corridors. These initiatives, aimed at fostering a thriving industrial ecosystem, were recognised as foundational steps towards realising Odisha’s long-term goal of becoming a leader in India’s industrial landscape, he added.

Minister of Industries and Skill Development Sampad Chandra Swain shed light on the transformative journey that Odisha’s industrial sector has undertaken over the years. He spoke about the Utkarsh Odisha initiative’s futuristic vision, aimed at positioning the state as a global hub for industries and investments.

Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary, Industries, in his welcome address detailed the state’s efforts to foster a favourable business ecosystem. His presentation underscored the government’s mission to enhance the state’s industrial competitiveness and its commitment towards making Odisha the most sought-after investment destination in India.

Manoj Ahuja, Chief Secretary, highlighted the ongoing improvements in ease of doing business and emphasised the government’s dedication to supporting both large industries and smaller entrepreneurs.

The Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 is the state’s main investment summit, aimed at fostering collaborations and partnerships for sustainable industrial growth. The conclave is designed to highlight the state’s potential as an industrial powerhouse, focusing on teamwork, innovation, and sustainable growth.

Deputy Chief Ministers Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, Ministers, industry leaders, industry associations, collectors of all 30 districts along with other dignitaries and government officials also attended the event.

Bhupendra Singh Poonia, Managing Director of IPICOL, offered thanks to the dignitaries.
