Chief Secy inaugurated CAP for hassle-free delivery of public services
Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi on Saturday inaugurated the Common Application Portal (CAP) for hassle-free delivery of G2C and G2B services. He also unveiled the portal for automation of the office of the Directorate Elementary Education and National Health Mission.
Padhi said Odisha is a leader state in office automation in the entire nation. “The use of OSWAS software is almost stabilized in Odisha secretariat. The entire filing system has been automated in almost all departments baring few cases where movement of physical files becomes necessary. This automation system with end to end solution is first of its kind in the country,” he said.
Special Secretary, General Administration, Ashok Kumar Meena outlined the objective and features of the portal.
Executive Director of CMGI Sanjaya Singh said CMGI is on its endeavor to design softwares for making service delivery citizen centric through application of technology.
Team leader, CMGI, Pinaki Mohanty said so far 19 public services have been made online. The process to put the balance 72 services online has been expedited, he added.
