Mumbai: Amid speculation of cheating which apparently led to Palash Muchhal and Smriti Mandhana’s wedding getting cancelled, choreographer Gulnaz broke her silence and urged people not to jump to conclusions.
Soon after the November 24 wedding was cancelled, Smriti deleted all her pre-wedding posts from social media, thereby fuelling rumours of choreographer Nandika Dwivedi being involved in it.
Now, Gulnaaz, who was hired by the couple for choreographing their wedding dance along with Nandika, addressed the controversy and denied the latter’s involvement in postponement of the wedding.
“I’ve been noticing a lot of speculation and false claims going around about me and my friend Nandika, so I want to make it clear that we are not the people involved in this issue. Just because we know someone socially or have a photo with them doesn’t mean we are connected to their personal matters. Please let’s keep things respectful and not jump to conclusions. We appreciate your understanding and support,” Gulnaz shared on Instagram.

Nandika has not released any statement yet and her social media profile has also been made private.
Neither Smriti nor Palaash has spoken on the matter thus far.
Sources close to the couple’s families revealed that the wedding got cancelled due to a medical emergency in the family.
