New Delhi: Vijay Deverakonda may be just 33 years old, but he is already a superstar whose popularity is not just confined to the south.
Dubbed as the ‘national crush’, Deverakonda has a special connect with his millions of fans.
The Telugu star with a pan-India appeal, who featured in ‘Liger’ with Ananya Pandey earlier this year, promised a wonderful gift for his fans on Christmas Day.
Continuing with his tradition #Deverasanta, he announced a fully-paid trip for 100 fans.
“#Deverasanta, a tradition I started 5 years ago. This year I have the nicest idea so far 🙂 I am going to send 100 of you on an all-expenses paid holiday. Help me in choosing the destination. #Deverasanta2022,” Deverakonda posted on Twitter.
Not just that, he invited fans to take part in a poll on social media to help him choose the holiday destination.
The options were — Mountains of India, Beaches of India, Culture trip to India and Desert in India.
The ‘winner’ was mountains, with 42.5%. Culture trip got 27.1% of votes, Beaches received 24% and Desert 6.3%.
Deverakonda, who started started this tradition five years ago, visited Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University in Masab Tank in the first year and selected 50 fans randomly who were given special gifts.
