Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, on Monday extended the deadline for submitting applications for rechecking and re-addition of marks in the Higher Secondary (Plus II) examination answer scripts to July 4.
According to an official notification issued by Controller of Examinations Prasanta Kumar Parida, the previous window for applications ran from June 19 to June 30
. Following a review of the schedule and requests from students, the Council decided to extend the last date by four days.
The updated notification has been shared with principals and headmasters of higher secondary schools and colleges across the state, asking them to promptly inform all students concerned.
Students wishing to apply for rechecking or re-addition must first download the scanned copies of their answer scripts from the official CHSE portal before submitting the application. The re-evaluation process allows candidates to check for discrepancies such as errors in totalling and omission in marks awarded.
The CHSE has urged eligible students to take advantage of the extended window and complete the online application process well before the July 4 deadline, warning that no applications will be accepted after this date. They have also been advised to avoid last-minute technical glitches by submitting early.
