Cuttack: Nodal officer of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), Biswanath Lenka, died of COVID-19 at Ashwini COVID Hospital on Monday.
CMC commissioner Ananya Das informed this to the media.
Lenka was in dual charge of the COVID-19 control room and the nodal officer of the COVID Care Home.
He had tested positive for the virus recently and was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
