Bhubaneswar: In a first, the Odisha government has decided to provide sample question papers to Class X students, preparing for annual High School Certificate (HSC) or matric examination 2024 conducted by Board of Secondary Education (BSE).
“I am to inform you that one set of sample question paper prepared in tune of the existing examination pattern of Annual High School Certificate Examination 2024 in all subjects i.e., Odia, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, Social Science are being sent. The sample question papers will facilitate students of Class X to understand the question pattern and will enable them to prepare the ensuing Annual HSC Examination 2024,” Director of Secondary Education said in a letter to all District Education Officers (DEOs).
The DEOs have been asked to share the sample question papers with headmasters and headmistresses of their respective districts.
“You are further requested to prepare multiple sets of question papers for the AHSC Examination 2024 utilising the resource teachers available at district level and share the same to this Directorate for further dissemination in the form of a digital repository of question bank,” the letter added.
The Annual High School Certificate, Madhyama and State Open School Certificate Examination for 2024 will be simultaneously conducted from February 20 to March 4, next year. The answer sheets will be evaluated from March 12 and it will continue for at least 12 days.
