New Delhi: With many wondering which app to download, the Central government on Monday clarified that the Co-WIN app is not required for registration and is only for administrators. Citizens need to go to the website www.cowin.gov.in or use the Aarogya Setu app, which has been integrated with the Co-WIN application.
Senior citizens (above 60 years) and people aged 45 or older with comorbidities can register between 9 am and 3 pm everyday.
Citizens will have to enter their mobile number to get an OTP for verification. The same can be accessed on the Vaccination tab in Aarogya Setu app. You will then need to enter photo ID number and other details. People with co-morbidities will need to carry a medical certificate when they go for the jab on the date of appointment.
After clicking on register, a confirmation message will come to the mobile number.
One person can add four more people linked to the mobile number.
Depending on your location, a list of vaccination centres will be displayed. If there are slots available, then you can choose and book.
