Cobra Spotted In Honda Activa Handle In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: A cobra was rescued from a two wheeler at Mahadeba Nagar near Jharpada in Odisha capital.

As per sources, the snake was spotted in the Honda Activa of one Swarup Kumar Kar. He noticed the snake on the handle of the two-wheeler and informed Snake Help Line.

Snake Help Line General Secretary Subhendu Mallick and member Silka Saloni reached the spot. They rescued the 4.5 feet long yellow snake with the help of a snake hook.

After rescuing the snake, they released it into a nearby forest.

The snakes have completed their winter hibernation and moreover the high temperature in the city are forcing snakes out of their burrows. Now, the snakes are coming to human habitation in search of food, said Subhendu Mallick.
