Bhubaneswar: With cold wave sweeping Odisha for the second consecutive day, the night temperature dropped below 10 degree Celsius at seven places in the state.
Phulbani was the coldest at 7.5 degree Celsius followed by G Udayagiri at 8 degree Celsius, Similiguda at 8.2 degree Celsius, Sonepur at 9 degree Celsius, Daringbadi at 9.5 degree Celsius and Keonjhar at 9.8 degree Celsius, the Bhubaneswar Meteorological centre informed on Monday.
The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 14 degree Celsius each.

Notably, the Met office had issued yellow warning for cold wave at one or two places in Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Angul, Sonepur, Balangir and Kalahandi till 8.30 am on Monday.
Dense fog warning has been issued for the next two days.

Yellow warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Angul and Dhenkanal.

Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri.
Yellow warning: Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati and Kandhamal.
