“There will be rainfall at isolated places in the entire coastal belt and one or two places over the districts of Nabarangpur, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Balangir, Keonjhar, Sonepur, Angul, Dhenkanal and Bargarh today. The weather condition will improve after 24 hours from Sunday with a sharp fall in the night temperature by 4-5 degrees Celsius in the next 48 hours under the influence of the wind flow from the north-north-west,” the IMD said in a morning bulletin.
Meanwhile, the rainfall recorded in the last 24 hours on Saturday was highest in Talcher at 58 mm followed by Balasore (22.4), Keonjhar (14.8), Angul (12.6), Bhubaneswar (12.3), Phulbani (9.4) and Bhawanipatna (9.2).

“There is dense fog in Bhawanipatna and Angul and shallow fog in Sambalpur and Koraput. Besides, places in interior and coastal Odisha where rainfall has occurred will also have dense fog due to the presence of enough moisture in the atmosphere.
