Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Sunday decided against collecting KALIA (Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation) assistance money from the ineligible beneficiaries.
In a letter, the Directorate of Agriculture and Food Processing has asked the District Agriculture Officers (DAOs) not to pressurize the ineligible beneficiaries to return the KALIA money in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and the beginning of the Kharif season.
