Balangir: Superintendent of Police (SP) of Balangir district K Siva Subramani on Sunday ordered a probe into the incident where a video clip featuring the intimate moments of a college girl went viral on social media.
“We are yet to receive any complaint from the girl. However, a police team has been sent to the victim’s village and held discussion with her parents. We advised them to file a complaint with police against the accused,” the SP informed.
“We will take further action after receiving a report in this connection from the police team,” Subramani added.
The incident took place a few days ago at Tusura area in the district when the accused developed a love affair with the victim, kept a physical relationship with her and shot her intimate acts.
Police came to know about the matter and swung into action in this regard, sources said.
