Bhubaneswar: Colleges and universities in Odisha will remain closed on the auspicious occasion of Sabitri Amabasya on May 30.
State Higher Education Principal Secretary Saswat Mishra has written to principals and Vice Chancellors of both government and private degree colleges and universities in this regard.
The state government has also curtailed the summer vacation at higher educational institutions this year. The summer vacation will be from June 1 to 16 this year.
