Colourful Events Add Zing To Holi Festivities In Bhubaneswar; Check Here
Bhubaneswar: People in Odisha capital began celebrating the festival of colours, Holi, with enthusiasm and fervour from early Wednesday morning.
Here’s a look at some interesting and special holi parties being e held in and around Bhubaneswar.
- The Chetana Institute of Mental Disability in Jayadev Bihar has organised a party to play holi with herbal colours and distribute dry foods among the 100 special children of their institute. They have also invited the denizens to join with them in this noble cause.
- The Healthville naturopathy centre has also organised ‘Holi Utsav’. This event, which is on till March 18, will feature DJ and rain dance and a lot of herbal colour. They have also arranged for mud bath, swimming and boating. They are also going to serve Thandai which is a special drink for holi. They also offer post celebration massage therapies to help their customers to relax.
- Phal Rasiya is being organized by the Blue Splash Waterpark on the Puri-Konark marine drive. They have fruity and juicy colours for you to play with and some pool games with dance and music followed by a delicious lunch. Various Ollywood actors such as Abhijit Das, Rishhi and Debasmita will join the celebrations today. Tejaswi Prakash and LSD band’s performance stole the show yesterday.
- Rang Barse is bring organised in the Northern Heights with live DJ, Punjabi Dhol and rain dance. They have a special food menu for holi with more than 10 dishes at Rs.300 per person only.
- The Wanderlusters events have organised a holi party at the Dhauli garden with organic colours. The celebration will also feature rain dance, live DJ and dhol. The crowd will also get a chance to win attractive prizes by playing games. Mouthwatering dishes are also a part of the celebration.
Various such holi celebrations are being organised in and around the city with great enthusiasm to have a joyful holi. In most parts of the city people have decided to say no to synthetic attractive colours and use only organic or herbal colours.
