Bhubaneswar: The compassion and fellowship represented by Rotarians on global scale are laudable, said Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal on Thurday.
He was addressing the installation of 54th Board of Directors of Rotary Club of Bhubaneswar, the oldest and biggest club in Rotary District 3262 comprising the state of Odisha.
The Governor inaugurated a skill registration programme for senior citizens launched by the Club to harness the expertise of its veteran members.
Speaking on the occasion, founder of Luminous Infoways and President of the Club Tanmay Mohanty laid out the action plan for the year, which included mega eye, dental and general halth camps, blood donation and plantation drives and a senior citizen’s home, among other activities.
His predecessor Roshanara Begum and secretary Bijay Das also spoke on the occasion.
