Pune: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has lodged a complaint at the Chaturshringi police station, Pune city police, to take legal action against a viral video that teaches students how to cheat during the online SPPU exams.
“Students are being misled in the 7 minutes 32 seconds video on how to take exams illegally”, stated the complaint letter issued by the Examination and Evaluation Department, SPPU, reported Punekar News.
In the complaint letter, the SPPU administration has stated that the video is an attempt to discredit the SPPU as well as the service providers working for the university, and is a strict violation of all the laws.
The video, ‘SPPU Cheating Mantra 2020’ was uploaded by a YouTube channel Sarpanch HD and has more than 1,100 views and 48 comments.

Earlier, SPPU postponed the online-offline exams scheduled to be held on October 15 due to heavy rainfall in the region.
