Bhubaneswar: With the winter session of the Odisha Assembly scheduled to begin from November 13, the Congress on Monday said that the party will rake up several issues, including implementation of the 5T initiative of the state government.
“The state government which boasts about the implementation of the 5T initiative in its Mo Sarkar programme to weed out corruption and ensure transparency in administration, it has, on the other hand, shielding some senior bureaucrats who are neck-deep in corruption,” Congress legislature party leader Narasingha Mishra told the media here.
Talking about the deteriorating law and order in the state, he alleged that the state government is using the administration and police against the opposition party leaders.
Narasingha also came down heavily on the state government for its failure in providing post-cyclone assistance to the affected people of Balangir and other cyclone-hit districts.
