Congress & Allies Stuck In Corruption, Narrow Agenda: Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi
Bhubaneswar: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi on Sunday lashed out at Congress and other opposition parties accusing them of being plagued by corruption, negativism and narrow political agenda.
Addressing the saffron party’s two-day national convention in New Delhi, the firebrand parliamentarian accused Congress and political parties of the INDIA bloc of opposing all progressive measures and developmental activities undertaken by the Narendra Modi government at the Centre.
Claiming that Congress and other opposition groups are disintegrating, the BJP national spokesperson said that these political parties are on the verge of collapse as they are stuck in the “swamp of negativism, narrow-mindedness and corruption.”
Stating that the people of the country have doubts over the intentions of the opposition parties, Aparajita said their policies, programmes and leadership are now under scanner.
Coming down heavily on Congress over the Ram Mandir issue, she said that Congress leaders boycotted the Pran Pratistha of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya because of their appeasement politics.
Accusing Congress and its allies of opposing all the historic decisions taken by the Prime Minister since May 2014, the firebrand BJP leader said efforts being taken by the government towards Viksit Bharat are also being opposed.
She also accused Congress of mocking at those holding high Constitutional posts because of its narrow political approach.
On the other hand, the Narendra Modi government has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and made sincere efforts to provide good governance in the country, said Aparajita.
“We are fortunate to be part of the largest party in the world, which has been carrying out its good governance,” she said, thanking PM Modi for ensuring corruption-free governance in the country.
